Police activity reported Feb. 10-22:
Feb. 22, 8:11 p.m. -- Officers assisted Fowler police with an incident in their jurisdiction.
Feb. 21, 11:55 p.m. -- Officers assisted Bazetta police with an incident on Larry Lane.
5:53 p.m. -- A resident reported a vehicle following her in the area of Rosewae Avenue and Fowler Street. Officers spoke to the other party and determined the incident occurred in another jurisdiction.
2:30 p.m. -- A woman arrived at the station to report an officer stopped her for a headlight violation and never gave her license back. While attempting to assist her, it was determined her license was suspended. The woman admitted driving herself to the station and was advised to call for someone to pick her up. Officers were unable to determine which agency may have taken her license.
2:29 p.m. -- A resident in the 100 block of Viets Drive reported an attempted scam.
Feb. 20, 2:10 p.m. -- Officers assisted Bazetta police with an incident in the 3000 block of Hoagland Blackstub Road.
Feb. 19, 7:35 p.m. -- A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 400 block of North Mecca Street. Officers spoke to the owner who was using his telescope and stated he had permission from the park to be on the property.
2:52 p.m. -- A suspicious vehicle was reported at a business in the 500 block of West Main Street.
Feb. 18, 11:28 p.m. -- An erratic driver was reported in the 100 block of South High Street. Officers checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle.
8:38 a.m. -- An unknown problem was reported in the 200 block of Portal Drive. Officers spoke to all parties involved and a juvenile was arrested and transported to the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center.
Feb. 17, 8:52 p.m. -- A two-vehicle crash was reported in the area of Niles Cortland Road and state Route 305.
12:57 p.m. -- Officers assisted Cortland EMS with an incident in the 300 block of Windsor Drive.
10:55 a.m. -- A resident in the 100 block of Grove Street reported a suspicious yellow Cavalier with a female driver taking a package from a residence on West Main Street. Officers were able to locate the female and spoke to the homeowner, and determined nothing illegal had occurred.
Feb. 16, 6:18 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Fowler police in the area of Ridge and Everett Cortland Hull roads.
2:12 p.m. -- Lost license plate reported in the 400 block of Stahl Avenue.
10:37 a.m. -- Vehicle failed to stop for red lights on a school bus. A citation was later issued to the driver.
Feb. 15, 1:19 p.m. -- Cortland police and the road department helped Cortland firefighters with a brush fire in the 200 block of South High Street.
10:36 a.m. -- Missing trash can reported in the 3000 block of Fowler Street.
Feb. 14, 7:25 p.m. -- Found knife reported in the 700 block of Lakeview Drive.
4:58 p.m. -- Children riding bikes, swearing and saying inappropriate things reported at Willow Park. Police spoke to the children who denied using inappropriate language.
3:59 p.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 600 block of South High Street.
12:14 p.m. -- Vehicle failing to stop for the red lights on the school bus reported.
12:07 p.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 200 block of Greenbriar Drive.
Feb. 13, 4:24 p.m. -- Cortland police helped Cortland fire / EMS in the 100 block of Hillman Drive.
3:47 p.m. -- Fraud reported at a business in the 100 block of North Mecca Street.
3:00 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol with a crash on state Route 5.
8:37 a.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 500 block of South Mecca Street. Police found a disabled vehicle and pushed it off the road.
Feb. 10, 11:51 p.m. -- Two teenage boys acting suspicious reported in the 200 block of Terre Hill Drive.
3:43 p.m. -- Identity theft reported in the 100 block of Willow Street.
11:50 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland EMS in the 400 block of Arcaro Street.
11:21 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office in the 300 block of Ridge Road.
