Jan. 5, 8:20 p.m. -- Suspicious man on a bicycle reported in the 200 block of Market Street.
5:42 p.m. -- Suspicious silver SUV reported at a business in the 300 block of South High Street. The driver told police she pulled over to talk on her phone.
Jan. 4, 6:32 p.m. -- Unknown person with a flashlight reported in the 100 block of Adams Court. Police checked the area but did not find anyone.
10:16 a.m. -- Theft from a residence reported in the 700 block of Lakeview Drive.
Jan. 3, 9:12 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police with a three-vehicle crash in the area of Beaver Trail and Elm Road.
9:01 a.m. -- Attempted scam reported in the 200 block of Robbies Run.
Jan. 2, 10:38 p.m. -- Person pounding on a door and possible scream reported in the 300 block of Old Oak Drive. Police checked the area but did not find anyone.

Dec. 31, 8:43 p.m. -- Unwanted man reported in the 2000 block of Liberty Boulevard. The man was gone when police arrived.
Dec. 30, 9:54 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS with a medical emergency in the 200 block of Heritage Lane.
7:07 p.m. -- Waterline break reported in the 100 block of Dornoch Drive.
