Dec. 29, 9:45 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS with a medical emergency at a business in the 200 block of South High Street.

2:58 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS with a medical emergency in the 500 block of Cortview Drive.

12:13 p.m. -- Neighbor illegally parking a garbage truck reported in the 100 block of Winter Lane. Police determined the truck was parked legally.

11:22 a.m. -- Death investigation completed in the 300 block of Maplewood Drive.

Dec. 28, 10:24 p.m. -- Car versus deer crash reported in the area of Fowler Street and South Colonial Drive.

Dec. 27, 9: 20 p.m. -- Suspicious man reported at a business in the 200 block of South High Street.

7:42 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS with a medical emergency in the 100 block of North High Street.

11:47 a.m. -- Theft by a known person reported in the 200 block of North Mecca Street.

Dec. 26, 11:45 a.m. -- Tire falling off a vehicle reported in the area of South Colonial Drive and Fowler Street. A truck was towed back to a dealership where it had just been serviced, according to records.

2:54 a.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 200 block of Fowler Street.

Dec. 25, 1:21 p.m. -- Truck versus fire hydrant crash reported in the 100 block of East Main Street. The truck left with the hydrant stuck underneath the vehicle and the vehicle was later located in the area of Pearl Park, according to records.

12:17 p.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of Winter Lane and North Colonial Drive. The driver told police he had pulled over to use his phone.

Dec. 24, 7:38 p.m. -- Car stuck in the snow reported in the 200 block of Bayview Drive.

2:20 p.m. -- Two-vehicle crash reported in the 600 block of South High Street.

Dec. 23, 11:09 p.m. -- Power outages reported by several residents.

1:46 p.m. -- A lost dog was found by its owner.

12:45 p.m. -- Lost dog reported in the 300 block of Chevoit Place.

Dec. 22, 8:11 p.m. -- Gold vehicle playing loud music reported in the area of Market Street and Bank Street. Police talked to the driver who said he had just upgraded his amp and was trying to tune it. He apologized and turned the music down, according to records.

4:32 p.m. -- Found Door Dash debit card reported in the 500 block of Lakeview Drive.

12:10 p.m. -- Police found a set of Apple AirPods in the 3200 block of Niles Cortland Road.

Dec. 21, 9:48 p.m. -- Suspicious person wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt reported in the 100 block of St. Andrews Street.

2:59 p.m. -- Reckless black minivan reported in the area of state Routes 5 and 305.

11:02 a.m. -- Two-vehicle crash reported in the 600 block of South High Street.

Dec. 20, 9:50 p.m. -- Suspicious blue, lifted truck reported at a business in the 500 block Lakeview Drive. Police spoke to the driver who said he was watching Tik Tok videos.

6:59 p.m. -- Reckless van reported in the area of state Route 5 and Bradley Brownlee Road. Officers came across a vehicle matching the description parked on the side of the road. A man near the vehicle said he was on his way to his brother's house but was lost. Police discovered the man had a warrant out for his arrest so he was taken into custody and turned over to a Trumbull County Sheriff's deputy, according to records.

6:33 p.m. -- Suspicious man reported standing on a porch roof of a home in the 100 block of Market Street. Police talked to a resident who said a cell phone had fallen out an open window and he had to get onto the roof to retrieve it.

5:10 p.m. -- Vehicle lockout reported in the 300 block of South High Street.

11:28 p.m. -- Suspicious gray Chevy following a motorist reported in the area of Deer Creek Trail and state Route 305. Police did not locate the vehicle.

8:53 a.m. -- Police assisted Cortland fire / EMS with a medical emergency in the 600 block of Cortview Drive.

Dec. 19, 11:17 p.m. -- Police assisted Cortland fire with a canine rescue in the 100 block of South High Street after an elderly dog slipped and slid into a ravine. The dog was returned to the safety of its home, according to records.

4:31 p.m. -- Private property two-vehicle crash reported at a business in the 300 block of South High Street.

3:53 p.m. -- Deer hit by a vehicle reported in the 400 block of South High Street. Police could not find the deer.

3:33 p.m. -- Man arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 1000 block of Liberty Boulevard.

9:29 p.m. -- Suspicious man wearing only shorts reported in the 100 block of Fairway Drive. Police called an ambulance to take the man to a local hospital, according to records.

Dec. 18, 9:50 p.m. -- Suspicious man hanging out by a dumpster reported at a business in the 3200 block of state Route 46. Police could not find the man.

6:00 p.m. -- Unwanted man reported in the 2000 block of Liberty Boulevard.

Dec. 17, 5:22 p.m. -- Found passport returned to its owner.

10:41 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire in the 100 block of Diamond Way.

9:05 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted Howland police in the 1800 block of Niles Cortland Road.

Dec. 16, 11:42 p.m. -- Hit-and-run crash reported in front of a business in the 500 block of South Mecca Street. The suspect was driving a black and red car and an investigation is ongoing, according to police.

2:41 p.m. -- Credit card fraud reported in the 800 block of Cortview Drive.

1:33 p.m. -- Theft of a grill from a vehicle reported earlier in the day at a business in the 100 block of South High Street.

8:04 a.m. -- Found passport reported in the area of state Route 11.
