Police activity reported Dec. 2-8:

Dec. 8, 8:38 p.m. -- Runaway Chow reported in the 300 block of South Colonial Drive.

8:18 p.m. -- Reckless blue Dodge reported in the area of state Routes 11 and 305. Police spoke to the driver who apologized for eating while driving.

9:35 p.m. -- Cortland police conducted a follow-up investigation for a crash that happened on Dec. 7. A driver was cited for failure to stop for a red light.

6:10 p.m. -- Failure to stop for a school bus reported in the 100 block of Diamond Way. A driver was cited.

1:37 a.m. -- Unknown person knocking on a door reported in the 100 block of Woodland Trail.

Dec. 7, 9:26 p.m. -- Person in dark clothing reported in the area of St. Andrew and Everett Cortland Hull Road.

8:34 p.m. -- Two-vehicle crash with possible injuries reported in the area of state Route 305 and Niles Cortland Road.

6:39 p.m. -- Two-vehicle crash reported in the 300 block of Hillman Drive.

1:01 p.m. -- Back Honda SUV driving past a stopped Lakeview bus with illuminated lights reported in the area of Fowler Street and Heather Lane.

10:14 a.m. -- Damage to vacant property reported in the 3000 block of Niles Cortland Road.

Dec. 6, 8:50 p.m. -- Reckless tractor-trailer reported on state Route 5.

9:37 a.m. -- Unruly juvenile reported in the 600 block of Wakefield Drive.

Dec. 5, 1:40 p.m. -- Property damage reported at Eastlake Sled Hill, 4530 N. Mecca Street.

Dec. 4, 9:12 p.m. -- Found dog returned home on West Main Street. After hearing there was a Be on the Lookout out for a boxer / lab dog in the area, Sandy the dog decided to return home without police assistance. 11:21 a.m. -- Speeding reported in the area of South Mecca and Second streets. A driver was cited for going 55 mph in a 35 mph zone.

9:47 a.m. -- Criminal damaging reported at a building and the basketball court at Willow Park, 184 Willow Ave.

Dec. 3, 11:30 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop.

Dec. 2, 6:57 p.m. -- A dog previously reported stolen in the 300 block of Denman Avenue was found.

10:48 a.m. -- Possible scam reported in the 300 block of North Mecca Street.

5:15 a.m. -- Suspicious woman reported in the 200 block of West Main Street. The woman told police she wanted a man removed from her house.
