Police activity reported between Sept. 5-28:

Sept. 28, 2:30 p.m. -- Damages caused by a utility truck driving into a resident's backyard and damaging the land reported at 426 Hayes Ave.

Sept. 27 – 6:22 p.m. -- Damages caused by a utility truck driving into a resident's backyard and damaging the land reported at Garfield Ave.

Sept. 25, 4 p.m. -- Neighbor dispute reported at 643 Iowa Ave. after one neighbor put up a fence that allegedly caused mud to drain onto the other's driveway.

Sept. 24, 10:02 a.m. -- Fraud reported at 737 New York Ave. after a check a man wrote was allegedly stolen out of a mailbox and cashed in at a higher amount than he originally wrote it for.

Sept. 12, 6:19 p.m. -- A Facebook scam in which an account pretended to be a company in the hiring process to get account passwords and bank information was reported at 221 Indiana Ave.

Sept. 9, 9:30 p.m. -- A man allegedly tried to get a group of three school-aged girls to get in his car as they were walking home from a football game at the corner of Iowa Avenue and Fourth Street.

Sept. 6, 5:28 p.m. -- A woman reported that another woman had yelled at her and followed her from Dollar General on Ohio Avenue to her fiancee's home on Seventh Street.

Sept. 5, 12:20 p.m. -- Homeowners reported that their truck which was parked in their driveway overnight on Ohio Avenue had been vandalized.
