Police activity reported Aug. 12-18:

Aug. 18, 8:23 p.m. -- Traffic stop reported in the 500 block of West Main Street. A juvenile driver was issued a citation for driving 64 mph in a 35 mph zone.

2:53 p.m. -- Two-vehicle crash reported in the 600 block of South High Street.

10:26 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police with a stolen vehicle stop in the area of state Route 46 and Saddlebrook Drive.

8:26 a.m. -- Violation of protection order reported to the Cortland Police Department.

Aug. 17, 6:06 p.m. -- Theft reported in the 600 block of Lakeview Drive. Police arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant through the Trumbull County Central District Court.

4:50 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire /EMS in the 100 block of Market Street.

Aug. 16, 4:49 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted the Cortland service department in the 100 block of Winter Lane.

Aug. 15, 9:30 p.m. -- Someone pounding on the front door and ringing the doorbell reported at a residence. Police found a group of juveniles who admitted to knocking on the door. The address was not listed on the report.

8:29 p.m. -- Reckless maroon vehicle reported in the area of state Routes 305 and 46.

3:41 p.m. -- Dog locked in a vehicle reported at a business in the 100 block of South High Street. Police could not locate the vehicle.

1:44 a.m. -- Cortland police located an injured dog in the 100 block of Market Street and turned the dog over to the Animal Welfare League.

Aug. 14, 8:27 p.m. -- Barking dog reported in the 200 block of Wae Trail.

12:16 a.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 100 block of Hillman Drive.

Aug. 13, 10:51 p.m. -- Loud music reported on Michaels Court.

7:34 p.m. -- Possible missing child reported in the 300 block of Hillman Drive. The child was found later.

7:13 p.m. -- Illegal burning reported in the area of Stahl Avenue and Main Street.

Aug. 12, 2:48 p.m. -- Telephone harassment reported in the 200 block of Stahl Avenue.

12:28 p.m. -- Little "yapper" dogs reported barking in the 300 block of Denman Avenue. Police gave the dogs' owner a copy of the city's ordinance.

6:03 a.m. -- Suspicious activity reported in the 4700 block of state Route 5.
