7:27 p.m. -- Suspicious activity reported in the 4700 block of state Route 5.
2:34 p.m. -- Stolen vehicle reported in the 300 block of North High Street.
Aug. 9, 6:01 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS in the 100 block of North Mecca Street.
5:42 p.m. -- Illegal burning reported in the 100 block of Fairview Avenue.
3:48 p.m. -- Attempted identity theft reported in the 1200 block of Cortview Drive.
3:06 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office with a traffic complaint in the 4800 block of Phillips Rice Road.
Aug. 8, 9:34 a.m. -- Child endangering reported in the 100 block of Hillman Drive.
8:11 a.m. -- Found cell phone reported at the payment box at City Hall. It was later returned to its owner.
7:51 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police with a crash in the 2000 block of McCleary Jacoby Road.
Aug. 7, 7:18 p.m. -- Police found a juvenile walking in the road on state Route 5 near Brownlee Road. The juvenile was returned home.
