May 12, 10:13 p.m. -- Noise complaint for someone mowing grass reported in the area of Market Street and Bank Street. The man mowing told police that he worked all day and that was the only time he could do it.
9:30 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police in the 3000 block of Niles Cortland Road.
8:43 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police in the 2000 block of Howland Wilson Road.
7:29 p.m. -- Illegal burning reported in the 3100 block of Fowler Street.
2:18 p.m. -- Attempted scam reported at the Garden Brook Banquet Center. A caller reported that someone was selling booth spaces to a craft show that doesn't exist.
May 11, 7:44 p.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 500 block of North High Street. The driver had run out of gas but help was on the way, he said.
5:49 p.m. -- Unwanted snake reported in the 100 block of East Market Street. Police attempted to identify the snake but it slithered under the caller's porch. Officers were unable to apprehend it because they did not fit under the porch, the report states.
2:04 a.m. -- Unwanted person reported in the 500 block of Wakefield Drive.
1:54 a.m. -- Suspicious vehicle and two people reported in Willow Park. Police told them the park was closed and asked them to leave.
May 10, 7:55 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire in the 200 block of Dornoch Drive.
7:24 p.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 100 block of Gates Street.
11:00 a.m. -- Suspicious activity reported in the 100 block of North Mecca Street.
10:27 a.m. --Woman lying on the ground reported in the 400 block of South High Street. The woman told police there was no problem.
May 9, 6:34 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS with a medical emergency in the 200 block of East Main Street.
1:22 p.m. -- Domestic violence reported in the 300 block of North Mecca Street.
2:44 a.m. -- Juvenile problem reported in the 100 block of Dennis Drive. A warrant was issued for a juvenile who fled on foot.
May 8, 8:07 p.m. -- Loud music reported at Willow Park.
1:09 p.m. -- Two-vehicle crash reported in the 600 block of South High Street.
May 7, 7:43 p.m. -- Counterfeit bill reported at a business in the 100 block of Market Street.
5:09 p.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 200 block of West Main Street.
5:11 a.m. -- Suspicious man reported in the 3600 block of state Route 5.
3:18 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire in the 200 block of Diamond Way.
May 6, 11:03 p.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 300 block of Stahl Avenue.
3:43 p.m. -- Two-vehicle noninjury crash reported in the area of Niles Cortland Road and Wakefield Drive.
3:02 p.m. -- Possible drug activity reported in the 2000 block of Liberty Boulevard.
10:53 a.m. -- Theft from an unlocked vehicle reported in the 100 block of Diamond Way.
4:02 a.m. -- Two suspicious men wearing black reported in the area of South Colonial Drive and Diamond Way. Two unlocked vehicles were entered in the area, but nothing was reported missing.
