April 12, 8:30 p.m. -- Person riding a scooter in the street reported in the 100 block of North High Street.

7:40 p.m. -- Suspicious man reported in the 500 block of South Mecca Street.

5:03 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland EMS with a medical emergency at Willow Park.

April 9, 7:01 p.m. -- Man hitting cars and yelling reported in the 200 block of North Mecca Street. The man was upset about losing his cellphone, according to police. Officers called the phone and found it at his girlfriend's apartment.

9:16 a.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police with a suspicious man in the area of Niles Cortland Road and state Route 305.

April 10, 8:22 p.m. -- Theft of a package reported in the 100 block of Ruth Avenue. It later was returned to its owner.

12:17 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police with a fight at a business in the 2900 block of Niles Cortland Road.

3:12 a.m. -- Domestic disturbance reported in the 300 block of North High Street.

12:10 a.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 100 block of Brent Place.

April 9, 10:42 p.m. -- Private property crash reported in the 400 block of South High Street.

10:20 p.m. -- Disturbance reported at a business in the 200 block of South High Street. Several juveniles had an argument, and one was assaulted. The victim was checked by EMS and released to his parents.

10:20 p.m. -- Police found a juvenile walking in the area of Everett Cortland Road and St. Andrews and called his mother.

9:11 p.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 200 block of South High Street.

11:31 a.m. -- Marijuana smell reported in the 500 block of Lakeview Drive.

10:25 a.m. -- Loose dog reported in the 200 block of East Main Street. Police returned the dog to its owner, but it escaped again and police had to catch it a second time, according to records.

April 8, 10:58 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Fowler police in the 3100 block of Everett Cortland Hull Road.

5:37 p.m. -- Man blocking traffic reported in the 2800 block of state Route 305.

3:37 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Bazetta police with a crash in the 3600 block of state Route 5.

1:15 p.m. -- A black Labrador retriever reported stolen was found and returned to its owner.

8:37 a.m. -- Police returned a set of keys to the owner in the 200 block of North Colonial Drive.

March 30, 7:13 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Ohio Edision near state Route 46 while street lights were changed.

5:21 p.m. -- Suspicious activity reported on Russell Street.

9:43 a.m. -- Telephone harassment reported in the 100 block of Hickory Circle.

8:07 a.m. -- Damaged utility pole reported in the 3300 block of Niles Cortland Road.

March 29, 9:02 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS in the 300 block of North High Street.

6:26 p.m. -- Sick raccoon reported in the 100 block of Frostwood Drive.

5:51 p.m. -- Suspicious maroon truck reported in the 200 block of Greenbriar Drive.

12:15 p.m. -- Trespass warning issued to a woman involved in a previous incident.

9:37 a.m. -- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle reported in the 200 block of North Mecca Street.

9:15 a.m. -- Unwanted person reported in the 300 block of Orchard Lane.

March 28, 1:41 p.m. -- Found key fob turned in to the police station.

10:37 a.m. -- Identity theft reported in the 400 block of South Mecca Street.

March 27, 9:47 p.m. -- Loud music reported in the area of Park Avenue and Market Street.

7:32 a.m. -- Raccoon in a garage reported on Spring Creek Drive. A resident told police a raccoon had been in a garage the previous day, but the door was left open overnight so it could leave on its own. Police checked the garage and after playing hide and seek discovered the raccoon in a garbage can. Officers assisted the raccoon to the tree line, where it was advised of the consequences should it return to the residence.

March 26, 10:48 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Fowler police in the 3200 block of Everett Hull Road.

6:11 p.m. -- Suspicious activity reported in the 300 block of North Mecca Street. A resident reported a woman, possibly in her early 20s, with brown hair and wearing a black sweatshirt and tan mechanic gloves crawled out from under his vehicle and ran into the woods. Officers believed she was trying to steal his catalytic converter. They checked the area but did not locate the woman.

5:36 p.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 100 block of Maple Avenue.

1:16 a.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 200 block of Maplewood Drive.

March 25, 7:09 p.m. -- Theft of a package reported in the 100 block of Richard Ave. The package later was located, according to police.

6:30 p.m. -- Suspicious man reported at a business in the 100 block of South High Street.

12:49 p.m. -- Reckless beige-colored vehicle reported in the area of South High and South Mecca streets.

March 24, 11:58 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol in the 400 block of South High Street.

9:30 p.m. -- Vehicle with loud exhaust reported at a business in the 100 block of Market Street.

9:21 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office with an incident that began in the 2300 block of Davis Peck Road.

7:59 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire in the 100 block of Beechwood Drive.

March 23, 4:25 p.m. -- Identity theft reported in the 400 block of South Mecca Street.

11:40 a.m. -- Medical emergency reported at Lakeview High School.

8:22 a.m. -- Breaking and entering reported on Bayview Circle.

March 22, 10:26 p.m. -- Crash reported in the 700 block of Evon Circle. A vehicle struck three apartments. No injuries were reported.

9:50 p.m. -- Cortland police assisted Cortland fire / EMS with a medical emergency on Evon Circle.

5:50 p.m. -- Suspicious activity reported at Lakeview Middle School. Police found four boys on the playground and one admitted to drawing inappropriate pictures on the driveway, according to police. The boy's parents told officers they would bring him back to remove the drawings.

3:37 p.m. -- Reckless dark gray Toyota truck with two unrestrained dogs in the bed reported in the area of state Routes 305 and 11.

2:46 p.m. -- Solicitation reported in the area of Corrin Circle and Troy Place.

March 21, 7:23 p.m. -- Suspicious black Lexus reported in the 400 block of Arcaro Street. A man was reported going door to door asking about voter registration.

March 20, 8:31 p.m. -- Intoxicated person reported at a business in the 300 block of South High Street.

6:52 p.m. -- Three boys messing with mailboxes reported in the 100 block of Carolyn Avenue. Police located the boys at a business in the 200 block of South High Street and gave them a ride to flip down all the flags of the mailboxes on Carolyn, Russell, Cedar and Fowler streets. All three were dropped off at one of their mothers' houses.

9:44 a.m. -- Suspicious man reported at a business in the 400 block of South High Street.

March 18, 11:11 p.m. -- Five kids throwing stuff in yards reported in the area of Old Oak and North Colonial drives.

11:07 p.m. -- Kids destroying trash cans and property reported in the area of Butternut Circle and Old Oak Drive.

6:54 p.m. -- Man riding a red four-wheeler reported in the 5200 block of state Route 5.

6:52 p.m. -- Rabid raccoon reported in the 3000 block of Liberty Boulevard. Officers located a baby raccoon and determined it was trying to play hide and seek. It won because it ran away from the officers, a report states.
