Jan. 28, 1:16 p.m. -- Identity fraud reported at 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. after a resident received a letter from the Ohip Department of Job and Family Services about a changed PIN number. The resident did not have an account and someone else used her information.
Jan. 27, 9:03 a.m. -- Identity fraud reported at 718 Oregon Ave. after a resident received a letter from the state of Ohio unemployment office. Someone else had used her personal information to open a claim.
Jan. 26, 8:54 a.m. -- Custody dispute reported at 233 Grant St. after a woman reported her daughter had not returned home after a visitation.
Jan. 24, 9:48 p.m. -- A man was lying in the street near the intersection of Fifth and Nebraska avenues. The man told police he was shoveling driveways and was taking a break.
Jan. 22, 2:52 p.m. -- Identity fraud reported at 365 Nebraska Ave. after a resident received a notice that someone had tried to purchase two items at $113 and $92 through Target. The resident contacted their credit card agencies.
Jan. 20, 1 p.m. -- Crash investigation reported at 1312 New Jersey Ave. after someone backed a vehicle out of a driveway and hit a vehicle parked on the road.
Jan, 17. 4:48 p.m. -- Scam reported at 813 Ohio Ave. after resident reported a scam on the phone with a message left on a computer that was hacked.
Jan. 15, 12:20 p.m. -- Resident at 443 Grant St. wanted to get rid of an old shotgun from the 1990s. The police checked the weapon to make sure it was not stolen.
Jan. 12, 3:56 p.m. -- Hit-skip accident reported in the 300 block of Indiana Avenue after a teen in a Jeep hit a neighbor's car and then fled the scene.
Jan. 11, 12:04 p.m. -- Identity fraud reported at 827 Texas Ave. after a resident received a bill for $248 from QVC products. The residents said they did not shop at QVC or any site online.
Jan. 6, 4:54 am. -- Disturbance reported at 101 W. Washington St. after a resident reported an ex girlfriend tried to come into the house and was banging on a door.
Jan. 4, 8:48 a.m. -- Petty theft reported at 200 E. Marshall Road after a 9-foot aluminum ladder and a snow blower were taken. A neighbor reported seeing a vehicle with broken windows on the property.
Jan. 3, 1:57 p.m. -- Petty theft reported at 50 Second St. after someone broke into a storage unit and stole items, including furniture and appliances.
