Dec. 27, 5:39 p.m. -- Criminal damaging reported at 701 E. Marshall Road after a resident reported her house was struck by bullets. The resident told police she and others were sitting in the living room and heard five rapid fire shots and thumps. A hole was found in the siding of the house.
Dec. 26, 9:38 p.m. -- Suspicious activity and criminal trespass reported at the new football stadium off Second Street after a car was stuck in the mud in the middle of the field. A towing company was contacted.
2:36 p.m. -- Junk vehicle in driveway complaint reported at 407 Pennsylvania Ave. Dominic Chambers was cited into mayor's court.
Dec. 25, 8:40 p.m. -- Disturbance reported at 331 Ohio Ave. after an elderly resident with dementia was being violent with family members.
Dec. 22, 10:19 a.m. -- Telephone harassment reported at 426 Dakota Ave., after person received a call from an individual who found a wallet and wanted reward money for its return.
Dec. 21, 9 a.m. -- Suspicious mail reported at 813 Iowa Ave. after resident received a letter in the mail from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services over unemployment benefits. The resident told police they had not filed for unemployment benefits.
Dec. 18, 8:18 p.m. -- Petty theft reported at 403 Ohio Ave. after a juvenile girl was seen taking toys at Save A Lot.
Dec. 17, 7:07 a.m. -- Suspicious activity reported on Freed Drive after a person in a hoodie was seen trying to get into a car. The person was later found by police by park restrooms in the area of Grant and Third streets.
Dec. 16, 8:20 p.m. -- Animal complaint reported at 1136 Parkview Ave. after an English bulldog bit a 14-year-old girl on the hand. The teen did not require medical attention.
Dec. 13, 8:49 p.m. -- Theft reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after a debit card was missing and someone used it at the Sheetz Store on Dec. 10.
Dec. 10, 3:08 p.m. -- Menacing reported at 1321 New Jersey Ave. after residents reported their grandchildren were being harassed on a school bus being called names and one juvenile was held down on a bus seat and had hair pulled. School officials were contacted about the problem.
Dec. 7, 7:01 a.m. -- Suspicious activity reported at 600 Iowa Ave. after children at basketball courts on school property saw a woman in car videotaping them.
Dec. 6, 3 p.m. -- Telephone harassment reported at 42 Ohio Ave. after a man received harassing calls from his former girlfriend.
Dec. 5, 3:47 p.m. -- Disturbance reported at Open Door Church off East Marshall Road after several vehicles were in the parking lot doing "burn outs."
Dec. 2, 10:19 p.m. -- Scam reported at 222 Grant Ave. after a resident received a phone call from someone claiming to be from AT&T asking for personal information.
Noon -- Theft reported at 351 Illinois Ave. after someone broke into a vehicle and took four rings valued at $1,600.
Dec. 1, 11:33 p.m. -- Petty theft reported at 420 Dakota Ave. after a UE Boom portable speaker, chargers, sunglasses and loose change were taken from a vehicle.
11:19 p.m. -- Petty theft reported at 353 Illinois Ave. after two people in hoodies were caught on security video going through a neighbor's car.
10:58 p.m. -- Theft reported at 148 Indiana Ave. after theft of firearm, medication, and various gift cards were taken from a vehicle.
