Police activity reported Aug. 17-27:
Aug. 27, 1:05 p.m. -- Criminal mischief reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after a dispute between a man and woman. The woman found the tires of her vehicle flattened and told police she believes her husband did it.
Aug. 26, 8:47 p.m. -- Suspicious activity reported at baseball / softball fields off Park Avenue after a large group of juveniles was climbing and hanging on a fence that broke. Police asked eight juveniles to leave after the fence was damaged.
Aug. 23, 9:52 p.m. -- A parent at 903 Iowa Ave. told police his juvenile son was at the park with other juveniles and his cellphone was damaged. A backpack that was thrown in the air by another juvenile was found thrown in a trash can.
Aug, 19, 10:25 p.m. -- Petty theft reported at 301 Hayes Ave after a child's bike was stolen from the backyard.
8:34 p.m. -- Barking dog complaint reported at 300 Hayes Ave. Police found a dog left alone outside without any food or water. Dirty diapers were found in the yard that the dog may have been eating. Police contacted the Trumbull County Dog Warden and Animal Welfare League.
5:42 a.m. -- Possible suicide reported at 833 Indiana Ave. after a man left home and was not able to be located by family.
Aug. 17, 6:22 p.m. -- Child endangering reported at 1116 Ohio Ave. after a toddler in diapers was found on the front porch of the house unattended, screaming and crying. A neighbor called police, who found a woman inside the house and advised her to watch child. Police called Trumbull County Children's Services.
Aug. 17, 11:43 a.m. -- Crash investigation reported at Hayes and Fifth avenues after village employees working to repair a leaking fire hydrant said a person backing a vehicle out of a driveway backed into a trailer parked on side of the road. The driver told police he did not see the trailer.
