ODNR seeks submissions for Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife is now accepting submissions for the 18th annual Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp photo contest to determine the 2027 stamp. This year’s theme is “Mammals,” and the contest is open until Sept. 15 for Ohio residents age 18 and older. Each year, the Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp showcases a photograph of Ohio’s native wildlife species, selected through a contest and judged on the photo’s originality, composition, technical excellence and overall beauty. Nominations sought for Twenty Under 20 award

WARREN — The Tribune Chronicle is seeking nominations for its 14th annual Twenty Under 20 program. The newspaper will recognize 20 high-achieving individuals younger than 20 for their leadership skills through volunteerism, extracurricular activities and academic achievements. The Tribune Chronicle is seeking nominations for its annual Trumbull County Firefighter of the Year competition. Nominees will be evaluated on dedication, productivity, loyalty and professionalism. They must serve with a fire department in Trumbull County, be at least 18 and hold any rank below chief. Niles mayor details plans for state grant
