WARREN - The Trumbull County Planning Commission recognized the Trumbull County Zoning Inspectors Association (TCZIA) as the recipient of its monthly “Something Good Initiative.”

The association connects zoning inspectors, local officials and community partners across Trumbull County, providing opportunities to exchange information, discuss common challenges and assist one another.

The Commission recognized the TCZIA for its dedication to connecting zoning officials throughout the county, sharing information on zoning trends and regulations, and providing valuable resources and support to local communities. Through meetings and educational discussions, TCZIA helps members stay informed about zoning trends, applicable laws, procedures and best practices.

TCZIA officers include chair Mark Posey, zoning inspector for Bazetta, Gustavus, Kinsman and Vienna townships; Vice Chair Jim Davies, Hartford Township zoning inspector and chairman of the Trumbull County Planning Commission; Treasurer Dan Morgan, Howland Township zoning inspector; and Secretary Kathy Setting, a member of the Southington Township Zoning Commission.

"The Zoning Inspectors Association is a great example of local officials sharing their knowledge and helping one another serve their communities," said Kimberly Vaughn, Plats and Zoning Coordinator. "We appreciate the time and commitment its members give to staying informed and making those resources available across Trumbull County."
