WARREN -- Warren police filed aggravated vehicular homicide and drunken driving charges against Brandon Greathouse, 32, of Vine Avenue Northeast Friday in the April 27 head-on crash on Market Street near the former Trumbull Regional Medical Center that killed his wife, Jessica Mason-Greathouse, 32, of Niles.

Police also filed three counts of aggravated vehicular assault against Greathouse for the serious injuries to the driver of the other car and the two children in her car.

Brandon Greathouse is apparently not in custody, and he presently has no arraignment date scheduled.

A Warren police crash report states that Brandon Greathouse was driving west on East Market Street when he crossed the double yellow center lines near the former hospital and struck a car coming the other way head-on.

His wife was killed, and everyone else involved in the crash was seriously injured - Rayelle Keeney, 28, of Cortland, the driver of the other car; a 7-year-old child in Keeney's car; a 4-month old baby in Keeney's car; and Brandon Greathouse.

The five people involved in the crash went to two hospitals -- St. Joseph Warren Hospital and St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

The crash report states that no testing for alcohol or drugs was given to Brandon Greathouse, but use of some type of drug by Brandon Greathouse was suspected.

Jessica Mason-Greathouse and Brandon Greathouse have four daughters, according to Jessica Mason-Greathouse's obituary.
