WHAT: Board of education meeting Oct. 21
PRESENT: Megan Gibbs, Elizabeth Dunn, Terry Kelly, Steve Gilanyi and LeeAnn Westenfelder
The board:
* Approved the 12th grade senior trip to Orlando, Fla. April 25-29, with Jennifer Doan and Crystal Nevling as class trip advisers.
* Received a $10,659 Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation grant for school safety initiatives and an $8,000 anonymous donation for the Washington D.C. trip.
* Approved Morgan Duffy as a substitute nurse at $18 per hour and office substitute at $12.50 per hour.
