WHAT: Liberty Board of Education meeting Monday
Present: Adam Earnheardt, Janine Hamilton, Hans Kirr, David Malone and John Simon
The board:
* Accepted Vicki Warburton’s resignation as a teacher for retirement, effective June 30, 2027, after 37 years of service.
* Accepted Deborah Walters’ resignation as a teacher for retirement, effective June 30, 2027, after 36 years of service.
* Accepted Tina Havaich’s resignation as an intervention assistant.
* Approved one-year limited contracts for Cailin Stevey and Nora Hixson as cooks through July 31, 2027.
* Accepted Noelle Coggins’s resignation as the World Languages club’s advisor and granted her a split contract in the same position.
* Approved Jeffrey Bruno, Zachary Fanto, Michael Meser, John Metzinger and Sebastian Neiswanger as licensed substitutes for the 2026-27 school year.
* Accepted a $100 donation from Bonnie and Mark Denucci to Liberty High School athletics.
* Accepted a $1,000 donation from Fitzpatrick Media Group, LLC for the Liberty High School football team.
