She said the season and shows are held from June through October with one show per month.
In addition to the fun shows, there are also point shows for interstate and intercounty participants and judged shows.
"Everyone likes fun shows which are just for fun. I like that the shows allow for camaraderie and social interaction. Today is also a good learning experience for young riders, This is a kind of show that helps promote the horse industry and get riders involved and hopefully carry it on into adulthood,'' Babnis said.
She said riders are from Ohio and Pennsylvania and sometimes New York.
Babnis said the costume contest everyone walks around in a circle with their horse.
"We look over the costumes that the riders and horses have on. We want this to be a fun way to celebrate the last show of the season. The riders can think of their Halloween costumes and include their horses as well.'' she said.
Babnis said the fun show does not give points.
