YOUNGSTOWN -- The Republican National Committee has announced changes to President Donald J. Trump's rally Monday at the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown.
Most of the events have been delayed by one hour.
Doors to the arena will now open at 3:30 p.m. The program is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., and Trump's remarks are scheduled to begin about 7 p.m.
The rally is designed to drum up support for Republican candidates on this fall's midterm ballot. U.S. Sen. Jon Husted, R-Ohio, who is in a close election race against former U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, is expected to attend and speak.
Several groups have planned protests against the president outside the arena on Monday.
Free tickets for the rally are available online. Organizers say a maximum of four tickets is permitted per request. Visit this website to request them:
