WHAT: Township trustee meeting Tuesday

Trustees:
• Reported the $450,000 new fire truck has arrived and will be used for service Hartford and Brookfield. Whitman said it took three years to get the vehicle.
• Approved applying for Issue 1 funding for next year for paving Spencer Clark Road.
• Accepted the resignation of Greg Leonhard as a part-time police officer since he has accepted a position with the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office.
• Accepted the resignation of Rick Rhodes, who was a part-time worker in the road and maintenance department.
• Announced the Hartford Apple Festival is set for Sept. 18-20 at the township center and trick or treat will be 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 with a trunk-or-treat event at the center.
