WHAT: Board of education meeting Wednesday
PRESENT: Cheryl Basista, Mark Bodo, Sam Caputo, Josh Garris and Matt Glidewell
The board:
• Approved an agreement with Valley Christian School for use of the Joe Lane Football Stadium from 6 to 10 p.m. for five Saturdays for football games.
• Approved Cetina Hannah on a one-year contract as a bus driver.

WHAT: Township trustees meeting Sept. 14
PRESENT: Lynn Michalec, Jeff Davis and Todd Williams
Trustees:
• Reported the delivery of the fire truck and new ambulance is on schedule.
• Reported the fire department received the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation grant of $40,000 for a new power cot for the new ambulance.
• Approved the August firefighter pay per call at $410.
• Approved payment of $825 to Major League Tire for brake work on the ambulance.
• Approved payment of $965 to Midway Garage Doors for two spring replacements.
• Approved payment of $1,340 to Medical Mutual for the annual life insurance premium.
• Approved payment of $819 to Lifeforce Billing for May through July services.
