WHAT: Township trustees meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Doug Emerine, Tom Jeffers and Rick York

Trustees:

• Scheduled a meeting at 10 a.m. Monday at the administration building for discussion on a grant to clean Young's Run.

• Appointed York to the county water board to replace Rex Fee, who stepped down.

• Discussed the purchase of used police cruisers from the Niles Police Department.

• Reported talks are continuing with the local police union on a new contract.

• Approved an agreement partnering with the Ohio Cyber Range Institute for free cybersecurity education and training.

• Accepted the resignation of Landon Weaver from the road department.
