WHAT: Township trustees meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Todd Garland, Dennis Kuchta and Jeff Tucker

Trustees:

• Are looking at the cost of demolition of the gymnasium at the former Braceville High School building, which is owned by the township and located off Braceville Robinson Road.

• Heard from scout Clover Padula who wants to do a scout project installing two benches along the walkway at the township park.

• Entered into a contract with Trumbull County Engineer's Office for roadside mowing at $5,000.

• Heard from a resident of Moser Road who asked if any waterlines can be extended to his property. Trustees told him to check with the county engineer's office.

• Were informed the Ohio Department of Transportation is posting a "Bump in Road" speed sign on state Route 534 because of a bump created in the road following a waterline and pavement project by the Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer's Office.

• Approved an agreement with Barrackman Tree Service for removal of two trees on Church Street at $3,320.

• Announced the Braceville African American Heritage Museum will host a 5K race Aug. 15 as a fundraiser.
