WHAT: Township trustees regular meeting Tuesday
PRESENT: Joel Davis, Michael Hovis and Bob McBride
Trustees:
• Approved purchasing two "No Engine Brake" signs for state Route 5 at a cost of $234.50. The signs were recommended by the Ohio Department of Transportation and will be installed by ODOT.
• Appointed Kyle Hinkle to the township park board, effective immediately.
• Set Christmas in the Park Nov. 21. The agenda listed Nov. 11, but trustees corrected the date during the meeting.
• Approved purchasing $5,595 in security cameras for the park from LTS Associates Inc.
• Heard that the township zoning commission is working on language addressing data centers. The commission's third-quarter meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at the township hall.
