LEAVITTSBURG -- LaBrae Local School District officials will host a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:45 p.m. Monday for the new band shell.
The ribbon cutting will begin at Viking Stadium on the school campus, immediately preceding the annual LaBrae Band Night, which is Trumbull County's inaugural show for this year's band night series.
School officials said the ceremony marks the official opening of the new performance space, which will serve as a premier venue for LaBrae High School's marching band.
District officials, school board members, and marching band members and band directors will gather to celebrate the completion of this project.
Following the ceremony, the public is invited to stay for the LaBrae Band Night, showcasing marching band performances from Champion, Cardinal Middlefield, Hubbard and Windham, in addition to the show capstone, the LaBrae Marching Pride.
Admission at the gate is $7, and children 5 and under are admitted free.
