The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Mahoning County next week. All scheduled work is weather permitting.

For the Interstate 76/80 pavement rehabilitation in Austintown and Jackson townships, the following new adjustments are in effect:

• The ramp from I-80 east to state Route 46 is closed through mid-July. The detour is I-80 east to Salt Springs Road to I-80 west to Route 46.

• The ramp from state Route 11 north to I-80 west is closed through late August. The detour is I-680 south to state Route 711 north to U.S. 422 west to I-80 west.

• The ramp from I-680 north to I-80 west is closed through late August. The detour is Route 711 north to U.S. 422 west to I-80 west.

• Beginning July 20, I-80 westbound between Salt Springs Road and state Route 46 will be reduced to one lane, and the ramp from I-80 west to Route 11 south will be closed. The detour will be I-80 west to Route 46 to I-80 east to Route11 south.

• The ramp from Route 46 to I-80 westbound is closed through early August. The detour is I-80 eastbound to Salt Springs Road to I-80 westbound.

• I-80 east and west is reduced to two lanes between the Meander Reservoir and Route 46.

Estimated completion for the project is late October.

For the Interstate 680 pavement replacement in Youngstown, the following adjustments are in effect:

• I-680 southbound traffic is crossed over onto the northbound lanes through late fall.

• I-680 northbound between South Avenue and state Route 193 is closed through summer 2027. The detour is U.S. 62 to U.S. 422 to Route 193.

• The Sillman Street ramp to I-680 southbound is closed through late fall. The detour is Steel Street to Mahoning Avenue to Belle Vista Avenue to Oakwood Street to I-680.

• The Route 193 ramp to I-680 southbound is closed through late fall. The detour is I-680 northbound to Route 711 to U.S. 422 eastbound to U.S.62 west/Route 7 south to I-680 south.

• The I-680 southbound ramp to Glenwood Avenue/Mahoning Avenue is closed through late fall. The detour is I-680 southbound to South Avenue to Front Street to Marshall Street.

• The Glenwood Avenue/Mahoning Avenue ramp to I-680 south is closed through late fall. The detour is High Street to Oak Hill Road to Falls Avenue to Market Street to Williamson Avenue to South Avenue.

• The I-680 ramp to Market Street south and north is closed. The detour is I-680 south to South Avenue to Williamson Avenue to Market Street.

Starting July 20, the ramp from U.S. 224 to state Route 11 south in Canfield will be closed through July 24 for a culvert replacement. The detour will be U.S. 224 west to Route 46 south to Route 11.

In Trumbull County, starting Monday, Route 193 just north of Warren Sharon Road will be closed through Friday for a culvert replacement. The detour will be state Route 82 to Route 11 to state Route 305.
