The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced new road adjustments related to the Interstate 80 resurfacing project in Austintown and Jackson townships.
Starting Sunday, the ramp from Interstate 80 west to state Route 11 south will be closed through July 29. The detour will be I-80 west to state Route 46 to I-80 east to Route 11 south.
Starting July 27, I-80 westbound between Salt Springs Road and Route 46 will be reduced to one lane. Starting July 29, the ramp from I-80 west to Route 46 will be closed through Aug. 1. The detour will be I-80 westbound to I-76 westbound to Bailey Road to I-76 eastbound to I-80 eastbound to Route 46.
Also, the following ramps are closed through late August for pavement rehabilitation:
• The ramp from Route 11 north to I-80 west. The detour is I-680 south to state Route 711 north to U.S. 422 west to I-80 west.
• The ramp from I-680 north to I-80 west. The detour is Route 711 north to U.S. 422 west to I-80 west.
Unrelated to the I-80 work, starting today, the ramp from U.S. 224 to Route 11 south in Canfield will be closed through Friday for a culvert replacement. The detour will be U.S. 224 west to Route 46 south to Route 11.
