WARREN -- Warren police dispersed a large after-hours gathering of more than 30 people, many of them juveniles at Burbank Park early Sunday and issued dozens of citations and arrests for criminal trespass.
According to a Warren police report officers responded around 1:36 a.m. July 26 after receiving a report of 20 to 30 juveniles and multiple vehicles in the park in the 300 block of Olian Avenue NW after closing time.
Upon arrival, the report says police blocked the entrance and began issuing summonses and making arrests, clearing the scene by about 3:12 a.m., according to the report.
Among those arrested was Janiah Michelle Jordan, 19, of Warren, who was charged with criminal trespass and taken into custody on an active warrant for contempt of court from Newton Falls Municipal Court. She was transported to the Trumbull County Jail.
Jayda Kelis Simmons, of Youngstown, was charged with criminal trespass and falsification after police said she gave officers a false name.
