WEATHERSFIELD -- Township police said a 3-year-old girl almost drowned in a swimming pool on the Fourth of July, but adults at the scene administering CPR saved her life.
Police Chief Michael Naples said the girl is recovering and is expected to be OK. Police responded at 3:45 p.m. Saturday to a home in the 1600 block of Warner Avenue for a child who almost drowned in a pool.
First responders and adults at the scene were able to help the child with CPR. Naples said the action of the adults and first responders saved her life.
