WHAT: Trumbull County Educational Service Center governing board meeting Friday

PRESENT: Laura Rubesich, Deborah Patchin, Carol Young and Tom Krispinsky

ABSENT: Denise Domhoff

The board:

• Approved an agreement with Warren City Schools for principal professional development services for the district’s principals.

• Approved agreements with Evolve Innovation Center and the OH WOW! Center to provide services for the STEAM program offered through the ESC.

• Approved an agreement with Axess Family Services Valley Health to provide school-based health services to school districts.

• Approved an agreement with Easter Seals of Northeast Ohio, which provides services for children in multi-disability classrooms.

• Hired Christie Cathcart as a building administrator and Jake Kakavros as a curriculum and instruction supervisor, both for 216-day contracts.

• Approved a revised contract with Edmentum for Trumbull Virtual Learning Academy services, which provides additional television sets for online learning of students served through the center.
