WHAT: City Council meeting Monday

PRESENT: Michael Mogg, Bonnie Viele, Robin Zambrini, Lisha Pompili-Baumiller, Michael Kerr, Jerome Crowe, Ryan Hallapy and Jonathan Rose

Council:

• Approved amending appropriations in the 2026 budget and declaring an emergency.

• Authorized the adoption of an alternative tax budget for the City of Hubbard for the fiscal year commencing Jan. 1, 2027, and submitting copies of the same to the Trumbull County Budget Commission.

• Gave second reading to an ordinance authorizing the board of control to enter into an agreement with IC System for the purpose of collecting delinquent utility accounts starting June 1 and declaring an emergency.

• Gave first reading to a resolution authorizing the board of control to advertise for qualifications for professional engineering services for the West Park stormwater improvement project.
