HOWLAND — Members of the Ohio Investigative Unit completed a search warrant this week at the Holiday Bar on Elm Road for illegal gambling machines.

Olivia Polivick, public information officer with the Ohio Investigative Unit of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, said OIU seized six gambling machines and $2,390.

She said four administrative citations were issued against the liquor permit and will be set for a hearing in front of the Liquor Control Commission.

Polivick said criminal charges are pending for gambling and operating a gambling house, but no one has been charged criminally at this time.

A search of the business was conducted Wednesday.
