WHAT: Township trustees meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Michael Haddle, Kim Ellis and Phil Pegg

Trustees:

• Approved appointing Stephanie Garito as a part-time township administrator at $16 per hour to be paid out of the township’s general fund.

• Approved accepting Go Green and dropoff improvement grants for the township’s recycling. Trustee Mike Haddle said the grant funds will go toward resealing asphalt in the fire and road departments’ parking lot area.

• Approved accepting a $3,089 grant from Warren-area Labor Management to cover a lamppost project, on behalf of the Vienna Community Action Committee, amending the motion to allow them to perform the project’s installation.

• Approved allowing VCAC to utilize Bicentennial Park for its second annual Easter egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 28.

• Approved updating the township’s Basic Life Support rate to $750, Advanced Life Support Level 1 rate to $1,000 and Advanced Life Support Level 2 rate to $1,100, and $17 per mile for ambulance transports, as recommended by Medica.
