WHAT: Trumbull Career and Technical Center December board meeting

The board:

• Named Brooke Vondrasek of Bristol as president pro-tem for the organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Several school districts will have new board members starting this year on the TCTC board as past members’ terms were up.

• Approved senior completion ceremony for 6:30 p.m. May 13 at Eastwood Field in Niles with a rain date of May 19.

• Approved the minimum wage increase from $10.70 to $11 per hour effective Jan. 1 for employees.

• Were informed nearly 1,000 eighth graders from school districts across the county toured the center in December. The center offers programs for ninth to 12th grades.

• Received donations from Cortland Moose Lodge 1012 and Schwebels Baking Company. Both organizations have contributed in various ways to the district.
