Mercy Health opens new walk-in location in Warren

Staff report

WARREN — Mercy Health has expanded access to same day care in Trumbull County with the opening of its newest walk-in care location in Warren.

The new clinic, located at 1552 North Road SE, Suite 202, opened its doors last month and is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

“Walk-in care provides patients with a convenient option to be seen the same day by a trusted Mercy Health provider,” said Dr. Jim Kravec, chief clinical officer, Mercy Health – Lorain and Youngstown. “We’re excited to open this new location in Warren and continue our commitment to providing accessible, affordable health care.”

Walk-in care is like urgent care in that patients can be seen without an appointment, but visits are billed like a standard primary care appointment, often at a lower cost. Mercy Health’s walk-in care clinics provide immediate treatment for common, nonemergency conditions. School and sports physicals also are offered.

Mercy Health now offers walk-in care at 11 locations through the Mahoning Valley, including Austintown, Liberty, Columbiana, East Palestine, Howland, North Lima, Salem, Sebring, Youngstown (Wick Avenue), Canfield and Warren.
