Santucci named to committees
State Rep. Nick Santucci, R-Niles, was appointed to the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review, and the Ohio Holocaust and Genocide Memorial and Education Commission.
JCARR’s primary function is to review proposed new, amended and rescinded rules from more than 100 state agencies to ensure they don’t exceed the rule-making authority granted to them by the General Assembly.
The commission is responsible for gathering and disseminating Holocaust and genocide educational resources, and promoting awareness of issues related to both.
House Speaker Matt Huffman, R-Lima, appointed Santucci to JCARR while Gov. Mike DeWine appointed him to the commission.
