BAZETTA -- Township fire crews were able to get a dog out of a burning mobile home after being called out this weekend to a fire on Larry Lane.
The Bazetta Professional Firefighters Local 3703 social media site indicated they were called at 11 a.m. Saturday to the fire where two residents were able to get out of the mobile home, but their dog was still inside.
Reports indicate there were flames and heavy smoke in the structure.
Firefighters went inside and got the dog out.
Reports indicate the dog was given oxygen and taken by the family to a veterinarian to be checked.
Crews from Champion, Cortland, Howland and Johnston fire departments and the Youngstown Air Reserve Station assisted at the fire.
