WHAT: Township trustees meeting Tuesday.
PRESENT: Doug Seemann, Mark Waldeck and Jim Cicchillo.
Trustees:
• Approved selling a 2005 Horton International fire squad for $5,000 to Liberty.
• Rehired Travis West as a road worker at $13 per hour effective April 1.
• Reported the county engineer’s office made repairs to support beams on the bridge on Housel Craft Road.
• Are seeking bids for chip and seal work at Nurse East Road, Hyde Oakfield North Road and the administration building parking lot.
• Appointed Seemann as representative to the Ohio Township Risk Management Association.
• Heard from fire Chief Steve Craiger of advertising for sale of two fire vehicles.
• Heard from Pastor David Natale that the Trumbull School Ministry works with the Bristol and Champion schools for the Release Time program where students once a week leave the school for a nearby church for Bible study at no cost to the schools or families.
• Set spring cleanup and paper shredding 9 a.m. to noon May 19.
• Set food truck nights May 9, June 6, July 11, Aug. 1 and Sept. 1 at the center.
