Quality Masonry Company of Marion is doing renovations to Warren G. Harding High School’s Mollenkopf Stadium. On Wednesday, employees were pressure washing the concrete on the home stands. John Lacy, director of business operations for the Warren City School District, said at March’s Warren Board of Education meeting that significant deterioration is occurring in the concrete steps, railings and structural steel because of water infiltration. The company received a $473,500 contract for the work, which is phase one. Phase two, which soon will be bid, will focus on modernizing the undersides of the stands, including upgrades to restrooms, concession stand improvements and regrading asphalt to improve drainage. The final phase, which will begin after football season ends, will target the visitor side stands.

Starting at $3.23/week.
