WHAT: Township trustees organizational meeting Tuesday.
PRESENT: Christen Clemson, Greg Chopko and Dan Galbencia.
Trustees:
• Named Clemson as chairwoman and Chopko as vice chairman.
• Approved liaison appointments: Clemson to park and town hall, Chopko to fire and cemetery, and Galbencia to roads.
• Received $175,000 in American Rescue Plan funds from the county commissioners that will be used for a new township hall being discussed by trustees. Clemson said the town hall is being reviewed with possible location at the park, south of the center.
• Have scheduled a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at township hall on wages for employees.
• Set meetings at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month.
