WHAT: Board of education organizational meeting Wednesday
PRESENT: Scott Chapman, Kristina Stephens, Brooke Vondrasek, Jared Bilas and Don Mickel
The board:
Named Chapman as president and Stephens as vice president.
• Approved the BETA team trip to Columbus Ferb. 12 to 14 for competition in Columbus.
• Approved committee and liaison appointments: Bilas to finance and technology; Chapman to athletics, audit and legislative liaison; Mickel to grounds, safety and security; Stephens to extracurricular and student liaison; and Vondrasek to public relations and representative to the Trumbull Career and Technical Center board.
• Set meetings for 6 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month.
