WHAT: Board of Education meeting Tuesday.

PRESENT: Patricia Limperos, Julian Walker, Alisha Alls, Regina Patterson and Patrick Flanagan.

The board:

•   Approved the 2025-26 school calendar with the first day for students Aug. 18, 2025, and last day, May 26, 2026.

•    Accepted retirement resignation of John Johnson, art teacher, effective May 30, and Kallie Ruane, elementary teacher, effective May 28.

•    Approved an agreement with Ohio State Extension Trumbull County College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Science through May for 16 cooking and nutrition lessons for the sixth- to eighth-grade after school programs at Jefferson, Lincoln, McGuffey and Willard PK-8 schools.

•    Entered into an agreement with Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio in Canfield through June for consulting services for district planning and professional development.
