WARREN -- A Warren man, 62, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a misdemeanor charge of attempted criminal mischief in a case involving stolen scooters.

Antonio Cleveland admitted to scrapping six scooters downtown in April 2022.

The case returned to Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Sean O'Brien's court after an appeal to the 11th District Court, where Cleveland's plea deal averted a second jury trial.

A background investigation has been ordered ahead of Cleveland's sentencing.
