WHAT: Township trustees meeting Wednesday.
PRESENT: Phil Wilhelm, Rebecca Whitman and Mike Wilson.
Trustees:
• Reported that with Wilson winning the Trumbull County sheriff seat in the Nov. 5 election, trustees will prepare to find a replacement for the seat starting in January. Wilson's last day is Dec. 31. Whitman said they will accept Wilson's resignation in December and then seek resumes from residents wanting to serve.
• Reported the Ohio Public Works Commission has approved Issue 1 funds for the King Graves Road repaving project for 2025, which is a joint project for Hartford and Brookfield. The project is estimated at $150,000.
• Purchased a portable AED for $3,700 and an extractor tool from Genesis Tool at $18,995 for the fire truck.
• Announced Holidays in Hartford will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23 at the center with local businesses open for the holidays.
