Bazetta requests review for project

BAZETTA — Township trustees at a special meeting Saturday approved a resolution authorizing the Trumbull County prosecutor’s office to review an agreement between the township, the county commissioners and county engineer’s office for the resurfacing of McCleary Jacoby Road.

Attorney Jason Toth informed trustees in a letter that to avoid any conflict of interest in legal representation for the contract and to use American Rescue Plan funds for the project, the county engineer’s office will need to review and oversee the project.
