WHAT: Township trustees meeting Wednesday
PRESENT: Cindy Speaker, Dan Tietz and Charles Hagman
Trustees:
• Reported that the Blueprint to Prosperity waterline project has been extended from Herner County Line Turnpike Road to Phalanx Mills Herner Road to state Route 305. Officials said they received word from the Trumbull County sanitary engineer's office about seeking additional funding for the waterline, which will be extended west from Herner County Line Turnpike Road to Phalanx Mills Herner Road north to Route 305 then east to U.S. Route 422 to Leiby Osborne Road to Route 422 and Warren Burton Road.
• Approved the Southington Community Trust using the 1907 building yard 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 27 for the farmers market on state Route 305 by the Chalker Building.
• Reported the fire department received a $5,495 grant for emergency medical service equipment.
• Reported all the fire department trucks have passed their annual pump test, and all fire hoses have been tested.
• Set trick or treat 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
