Warren man facing child porn and animal sex charges among 25 indicted
WARREN — Two dozen indictments were handed up Wednesday by a Trumbull County grand jury after two days of being in session in Common Pleas Court. The grand jury heard from 31 witnesses in 45 cases.
Among those indicted, Trent Addicott, 27, was indicted on several felony child pornography and sexual conduct with animal charges.
Addicott, of Fairview Avenue SE, Warren, is charged with four counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor; two counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor; and five counts of sexual conduct with an animal.
Prosecutors say they’re in possession of videos where Addicott filmed himself performing sex acts on the family dog.
According to a Howland police report, Addicott was arrested in May after Howland police and Sheriff Offices TAG detectives conducted a search warrant for his Fairview Avenue residence.
Initially, he was booked on second-degree charges of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. Addicott pleaded not guilty to the two charges when he was arraigned in Warren Municipal Court by Judge Patty Knepp.
The judge set his bond at $500,000 and issued a no contact order with the victim.
