WARREN -- Two Braceville parents were each arraigned on a felony charge of child endangerment in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court, accused of allowing their child around a dangerous dog that attacked their 2-year-old.
Jonah Fisher, 25, and Destany M. Myers, 26, both of Westgate Drive, were each charged with a third-degree felony of child endangering.
Myers was arraigned before Judge Cynthia Rice on Wednesday and Fisher was heard Tuesday before Judge Andrew D. Logan, as both pleaded not guilty.
Their bonds were set at $2,500, and as a condition of their bond, they're ordered to have no contact with the victim.
The two are due back in court on separate days, Fisher will appear July 9 while Myers is scheduled for a hearing July 31.
A Braceville police report states the March 29 incident left the couple's 2-year-old child with serious injuries that required medical treatment.
Police say the parents left the child alone with a dog that was deemed dangerous after having been quarantined for biting an individual.
The two were arraigned April 4 in Newton Falls Municipal Court. Both pleaded not guilty to the same third-degree felony charge and their bonds set at $2,500 each.
Specific conditions of those bonds prohibited contact with the child except through Child Protective Services and banned their use or possession of intoxicants.
Both of them had their cases bound over to a grand jury and were later indicted May 30.
