WHAT: Trustees meeting Tuesday

Trustees:
• Heard from Waldeck the township is planning Food Truck Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m. on the first Friday of each month from June through September with local food vendors, cornhole, children's activities and musical performances. The first event will be June 7.
• Heard from Mary Ann Raidel, curator of the Bristol Historical Museum, who said resident Don Hileman has volunteered to repair the exterior wood of the historic doctor's office and three Bristol High School students will help with scraping May 28 to 30 before painting is done in early June. She said elementary students will be touring the museum, the barbershop and doctor's office on Friday. The buildings will be open for Memorial Day following local service.
• Approved seeking bids for tearing down an old house at the southwest corner of state Routes 45 and 88. Bids are due July 16. The former Bristol Inn was demolished at the location last year. Plans are to save the siding of the garage for historic preservation.
• Approved Austin Cox as a summer worker at $12 per hour on a part-time basis.
• Heard from Ken Weeks of the zoning board that a decision from Trumbull County Prosecutors' Office states that townships can't limit the time a political sign is up on someone's property based on Ohio Revised Code.
• Heard from fire Chief Steve Craiger that the fire department has a new mailbox after closing the P.O. Box at the post office, but noted no mail has been forwarded yet to the fire department. He said he will check with the post office on where the mail is being sent since they have received no mail for several days.
