WARREN -- Two drug raids resulted in police confiscating more than 1,000 grams of various suspected drugs from homes in Warren on Tuesday, according to a news release.
Members of the TAG Drug Task force and Warren Police Street Crimes Unit took 50 grams of what is believed to be fentanyl from a home in the 700 block of Parkman Road SW, as well as a pistol drum magazine and suboxone stips, a medication used to treat individuals with opioid addiction, the release states.
At a home in the 2000 block of Milton Street SE, police found various types of substances, including what is believed to be more than 1,000 grams of cocaine, 129 grams of suspected fentanyl, 23 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 50 grams of suspected fentanyl pills, the release states. Police also found money and three handguns during the search.
The substances will be tested, which could result in charges, according to the release.
Assisting with the raids were the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Howland and Brookfield police departments. The raids were conducted Tuesday morning and afternoon.
